Campaign to lessen marine plastics!

Does Israel suck? Not anymore! We use more than one million plastic straws EVERY DAY in Israel alone! But a new campaign called StrawFreeTLV or לא
שמים קשים has kickstarted the anti-plastic movement in Israel, inviting members of the public to #GoStrawFree and encouraging cafes, bars and restaurants to only provide straws on request. Find out more and see what you can do to help reduce plastic pollution of our beaches, and put an end to the plastic-straw addiction in Israel! In particular, we invite conservation practitioners and researchers to share your stories about straws, or plastic in general.
